BRAID-IN SETS

temporary styles

A temporary, braid-in set is the perfect way to dip your toes into the World of Dreadlocks.
They allow you to add colour, texture and length to your hair, with minimal commitment and no damage.

They are made to live with you and can be washed, go swimming etc and can generally be kept in for 6-8 weeks every install, however this will depend on your hair type/cycle.

There are several ways to install your set, some less secure than others. You can rest assured that my technique will allow longevity to your look.

A healthy scalp is imperative to being able to hold your locs. Some people like to install their sets at home, however, it is important to understand that incorrect sectioning & too much tension on the scalp can cause discomfort and damage your hair follicle, hence why it is important to trust people with experience, who can section and allocate weight correctly.
Please disclose in your consultation form if you have very fine hair.

The first day or two of your braid-in set may feel stiff & the first night sleeping may be slightly uncomfortable, however this is quick to dissipate and they will quickly feel apart of you.

Minimal preparation is needed before your install, however clean hair is imperative & best to skip conditioner for your last wash pre-appointment, but not completely necessary.
