Welcome,
I'm Eve, and this is my Garden of Eden.

I first dipped my toes into the world of Dreadlocks 2016, almost by accident.
What started as playful curiosity — experimenting with hair wraps and temporary braid-ins — slowly unfolded into something much deeper.
Not only did I fall in love with the look of dreadlocks, I fell in love with the process, the evolution, and the change in self they can bring. As I allowed some of my temporary looks to naturally freeform, not only did my crown slowly evolve to a ¾ head of permanent locs, but my passion grew, too.
Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in the many pockets of creativity & craftsmanship within the Dreadlock world. With three years experience creating synthetic Dreadlock sets, paired with Mentorship and Training (see below), I’ve learned to have a deep respect for hair as an extension of self - something that can hold lessons, seasons & energy.
When you trust me with your crown, you will be warmly welcomed into my cosy Home Studio in a Federation home, nestled in a small country town, 40minutes inland from Newcastle, with my two year old Cocker Spaniel to keep you company while you transform. You will leave not only with fresh locs, but empowered with education and know-how to assist you on your journey.
Dreadlocks, to me, are about intention. With their many benefits and great beauty, they invite you to slow down, to trust and surrender to a process, and to honour where you are, as well as where you’re going while walking toward your authentic self.
My work is an extension of that philosophy. Everything I create and offer is rooted in care, experience, and genuine love for the craft. I value transparency, integrity & sharing my passion. My hope is that what you find here supports your own journey — whether you’re just beginning, deep in maintenance, or simply drawn to the magic of locs.
Thank you for being here, and for trusting me with something so personal.
- Eve, xoxo
